Rosehill Cemetery operates as a non-profit organization and is owned and operated by the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton. As such, we operate our cemetery on a "cost recovery" model and do not charge GST for most of our services. None of our associates earn commission through the services they provide, so you can rest assured that every decision we help you make will have your best interests and well-being in mind.

By planning ahead and getting your burial or cremation plans in order before you pass, you’ll remove a great deal of stress and financial worry from your family. After viewing our cemetery and determining your ideal resting place, you can then purchase and reserve your plot and begin finalizing your final arrangements. Once you pass, there won’t be any uncertainty surrounding your wishes and no sudden costs that your family is unprepared for.
Burial Options
Rosehill Cemetery is proud to provide two different burial options for our clients*. By doing so, we make it easier for you to choose the option that best suits your budget and wishes.
Regular-depth burial
Our regular-depth burial is the standard 6-foot-deep grave which allows for the burial of one casket, ensuring proper interment for yourself or your loved one.
Double-depth burial
Our double-depth burial allows for two caskets to be placed within a single plot, with one on top of the other. The burial plot is dug to a depth of nine feet to accommodate the first casket, and the top casket is interred at a depth of six feet.
*Any of our burial plots may be used for single or double-depth interments.
Looking for something different? Our mausoleum crypts are a perfect, impressive tribute
Very familiar to those of European ancestry, mausoleum crypts are an above-ground interment option that can house up to two caskets. These private, outdoor crypts are exquisite tributes to the life and memory of your loved one and a great alternative to community mausoleums, which are often governed by set visitation hours. At Rosehill Cemetery, our mausoleum crypts are made entirely of Canadian-quarried granite and come with a lifetime perpetual warranty ensuring they’re free from defects and last for generations to come.

We offer traditional, cremation, and green burial options, and can also provide headstones, monuments, or memorials for your loved one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Rosehill Cemetery does not have gates or visitation hours. We just respectfully ask that you visit between dawn and dusk for that given day.
